5th Annual STARS Fundraiser is set to begin March 11

🚁 Supporting STARS Air Ambulance – Our 5th Year of Giving Back

Southern Plains Co-op is proud to launch our 5th annual STARS Air Ambulance fundraiser, running March 11–31, 2026.

STARS Air Ambulance provides critical emergency medical services across Western Canada, including right here in Saskatchewan. Their highly skilled crews respond to life-threatening situations when minutes matter most, bringing advanced care directly to patients and transporting them quickly to the medical help they need.

At Southern Plains Co-op, we believe in supporting the services that support our communities. Thanks to the generosity of our Members and customers, we have raised $43,602 for STARS Air Ambulance since 2022 through donations, fundraising initiatives, and community support.

We’re excited to continue building on that impact again this year.

How You Can Support STARS

There are several ways to contribute during this year’s fundraiser:

🍪 STARS Helicopter Cookies

March 11 – March 25

For two weeks only, pick up our special STARS helicopter cookies, sold in packages of six available at our Estevan, Carlyle and Oxbow Food Stores.

With every package purchased, $3 will be donated directly to STARS Air Ambulance.

It’s a simple (and delicious!) way to show your support.

⛽ Fuel Up Day

Friday, March 27

On Fuel Up Day, 5¢ from every litre of fuel sold at all Southern Plains Co-op Gas Bars will be donated to STARS.

Just fill up your tank and help support life-saving emergency services at the same time.

🚁 STARS Helicopter Donation Cards

March 11 – March 31

Make a donation at the till with a minimum $2 contribution and write your name or a message on one of our STARS helicopter donation cards.

These cards will be displayed in our stores throughout the fundraiser, showing the incredible support our communities have for STARS.

It really is a Community Effort

Every cookie purchased, litre of fuel pumped, and donation made helps ensure that STARS Air Ambulance can continue providing critical care when it matters most.

We are incredibly grateful to our Members, customers, and Team Members who continue to support this important cause year after year.
